Land Rover has had a car configurator for many years, but the platform it was built on was outdated and continual improvements and adding of function meant it was at breaking point and not fit for purpose.
Land Rover needed a new robust and responsive configurator to take them into the digital future. The challenge was to create both an intuitive and exciting experience that could make sense of Land Rover's complex and sometimes confusing product line up.
The first job was to create a decision matrix based on the product offering to understand the complexity of the potential journeys. Armed with that insight we were able to start to design a platform that had the flexibility and capacity to display all the options and features of the vehicles. It was essential that the design was adaptive to work across every device.
A new architecture based on simplicity of use. Emphasising seamless entry and ease of use, we have created a strucrure for the configurator.
